    BEST FILM IN CINEMA HISTORY
16 years later after watching this masterpiece since its release in 2008, It is still the best movie in my honest opinion, everything about the cast is amazing, good acting skills and good script. Christian Bale is the best Batman in the history of all batmen, I have watched this movie countless of times and it is better every single time I watch it, Christopher Nolan deserves all praise for this masterpiece, he is the best and I cannot wait to show this movie to my kids in future, horrible directors like Scott Waugh should take notes from this man, Christopher Nolan, The graphics, the stunts, the energy and the ability of this movie to capture 100% of audience attention is worth all the great ratings it has, Thank God for Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, the late Heath Ledger and last but not least Christopher Nolan.

The Dark Knight (2008) - A Masterpiece of Modern Superhero Cinema
Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" is a groundbreaking achievement in the superhero genre, blending intense action with profound thematic depth. The film stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, who faces his most formidable adversary yet, the anarchic Joker, portrayed with chilling brilliance by Heath Ledger.

Bale delivers a compelling performance as the brooding, conflicted hero, balancing Batman's vigilante justice with Bruce Wayne's playboy persona. However, it is Ledger's portrayal of the Joker that steals the show. His performance is mesmerizing, bringing an unpredictable and terrifying energy to the character that is both captivating and unsettling. Ledger's Joker is a chaotic force of nature, challenging Batman's moral code and pushing Gotham City to the brink of anarchy.

Nolan's direction is masterful, crafting a dark, gripping narrative that delves into themes of chaos, morality, and the cost of heroism. The screenplay, co-written by Nolan and his brother Jonathan, is sharp and thought-provoking, filled with memorable dialogue and complex character arcs.

Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard's score is powerful and evocative, enhancing the film's tension and emotional weight. Wally Pfister's cinematography captures Gotham's gritty, noir-inspired aesthetic, while the action sequences are meticulously choreographed and visually stunning.

The supporting cast, including Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Michael Caine as Alfred, and Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, deliver strong performances that add depth to the film's intricate narrative. Eckhart's portrayal of Dent's tragic transformation into Two-Face is particularly noteworthy, adding another layer of complexity to the story.

"The Dark Knight" is more than just a superhero film; it is a riveting crime drama and a psychological thriller that explores the nature of good and evil. Its impact on the genre and cinema as a whole is undeniable, setting a new standard for what superhero movies can achieve. The film's critical and commercial success, along with Ledger's posthumous Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, solidifies its status as a modern classic.

    The movie
One of the finest films made in recent years. It's a poignant story about hope. Hope gets me. That's what makes a film like this more than a movie. It tells a lesson about life. Those are the films people talk about 50 or even 100 years from you. It's also a story for freedom. Freedom from isolation, from rule, from bigotry and hate. Freeman and Robbins are majestic in their performances. Each learns from the other. Their relationship is strong and you feel that from the first moment they make contact with one another. There is also a wonderful performance from legend James Whitmore as Brooks.

The Dark Knight" is certainly loud and violent but it's not mindless
Dark, yes, complex, ambitious. Christopher Nolan and his co-writer Jonathan Nolan deserve a standing ovation. I don't usually go for loud movies filled with mindless gore and violence. "The Dark Knight" is certainly loud and violent but it's not mindless. It has depth and soul. Even the Joker, in an extraordinary creation by Heath Ledger, is deeply human. The natural petulance of Christian Bale makes his ego and alter ego the most fascinating and complex of all film superheroes. Part of the genius of this movie is that Batman himself, in screen time, is not really the lead. My attention was captivated by Heath Ledger and he determines and inspires the breathtaking atmosphere that envelopes Gotham as well as us. The aplomb of Christopher Nolan as a director is mind blowing and his secret, I believe, is his obvious respect for his audience. What he's done is to elevate a popular genre into Shakesperean proportions.

What it Takes to be Knighted?
The chemistry between The Batman and Joker is very unique. I think moral ambiguity is the most intriguing thing about this trilogy. As characters descend into the ultimate darkness, Batman claims that there's hope, and selflessness at the bottom, while the Joker claims that you'd find the human natural tendency for destruction and selfishness. It's as if the Dark Knight is simply the one who makes it out of the darkness without losing knighthood (the darkness is encapsulated into his mask rather than his soul). This theme is also explored in the third installment physically and psychologically.

    Best movie
Christopher Nolan's second beloved newborn "The Dim Knight" Surpassed my assumptions as a whole!!! With the outcome of 2005's reboot of the Batman establishment, they took what was at that point laid out and extended it, amped it up, and gave a more profound, hazier and agonizing story that is really grasping and the tension is probably going to get you of gatekeeper a few times all through. Christian Bunch dives more profound into Batman, committed to battle fiendishness and bad form, however additionally very hesitant and unsure in the event that his campaign can at any point end and purify his internal conflict from his cracked soul because of the homicide of his adored guardians. However, with the assistance of his confided in head servant/partner Alfred (played sublimely by Michael Stick) grounds him, gives him moral help, and holds him in line. In any case, the genuine superstar is Heath Record as Batman's most dangerous adversary, The Joker. I can Sincerely let you know that: however great as Jack Nicholson was in Batman'89 he may be CHILD'S PLAY contrasted with this Joker. He is perverted, crazy, and absolutely More frightening and Mentally upsetting than the past manifestation of The Jokester Sovereign of Wrongdoing and Record does his absolute best with it to do him equity. Alongside the first cast comes a few new faces like Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal and that's just the beginning. I should say however I enjoyed Katie Holmes, Gyllenhaal gives a vastly improved presentation and is a long ways from the "lady in-trouble" generalization (however there's a tad bit of it, Fortunately) that is normal in films. Bunch and Gyllenhall have MUCH better science this time around more so than Holmes. Stunningly better, the battle groupings are tremendously improved and highlight more fierce and bone pounding battle than "Starts" notwithstanding new innovation available to Batman. Additionally worth focusing on is screenwriter Jonathan Nolan, who gives the film an additional frosting to an all around delightful cake. Basically, The Dull Knight is absolutely more boss than "Starts." The activity is perfect, and the plot is more profound and immersing. I commend Christopher Nolan, Christian Parcel, and particularly Heath Record (who tragically died recently) and every one of those on board for having faith in Mr. Nolan's abilities during the current second portion. Albeit some might feel a touch of despairing over Record's demise, yet as a last note I will say this earnestly from my heart: Recollect Heath Record and honor him to you and hearts for his exhibitions, yet as a person and father to his girl Matilda Record. May we issue him all the best for his loved ones and his little girl for quite a long time into the future.

"The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promised you the dawn is coming."~ Harvey Dent. And it's already here..........
Was really looking forward to watch this sequel after the wonderful "Batman Begins".

Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker is phenomenal.

An acting masterpiece, which is admirable to watch. From each smack to, his cut lips.

I was just bombed away acting-wise, humor-wise, visually and psychotically, flashed by the performance, not only of his life, but one of the best performances ever to grace the movie lens.

But not only Joker is fun here, the setting even better, the sayings even cooler, action sequences more outstanding, but not overdone, story is unpredictable.

Dent was great by the way, also the character development during the film, great perfomance by Aaron Eckhart.

My really only criticism is the casting of Rachel...Maggie no offense, but that was really not fitting for me....it was just not right at all.

This film, these film quotes, this opulent masterpiece, always puts a smile on my face, I am very grateful...Nolan and Ledger Chapeau..... May others continue to enjoy this film nearly as much as I do!!!

It is no wonder that the film has such a high rating, it is quite literally breathtaking. What can I say that hasn't said before? Not much, it's the story, the acting, the premise, but most of all, this movie is about how it makes you feel. Sometimes you watch a film, and can't remember it days later, this film loves with you, once you've seen it, you don't forget.

The ultimate story of friendship, of hope, and of life, and overcoming adversity.

I understand why so many class this as the best film of all time, it isn't mine, but I get it. If you haven't seen it, or haven't seen it for some time, you need to watch it, it's amazing. 10/10.

    A movie for all times
This film is what a movie should be all about. It has hope, fear, sadness and happiness. It has comic moments and intensely emotional sequences. Music and sound effects to match. It is just brilliant.

The characters played by the actors are superb. They are dark in some ways with a lot of emphasis on dialogue and their delivery. It may seem slow at times but that is part of the scheme for the story to come out.

This Batman is shown as someone who is not 100% perfect. He has his flaws and insecurities. That is what makes his character so relatable. His ability to come out a winner is what lifts us up in the end.
