Film that needs a sequel
I thought it was a good movie, funny, action packed, and an excellent star-studded cast with a fine story. The only real issue I have is that in the beginning of the film (Ponch) was a F. B. I. Agent in Miami, there was no need to have him located there. The F. B. I. Has a bank robbery division in Los Angeles, why would they call Miami for help, they would have used one of their own agents.
I thought Dax Shepard did a great job as director and actor and Michael Pena's intelligent, confident, sex addict character (Ponch) was a perfect match for a clumsy, over-eager, pill popper (Baker), they made an excellent team and I would love to see a sequel. - todddaviscook - 1 November 2022

Dax, I can't believe they allowed you to make this film. You just rose to LEGENDARY status in my book. Yeah, I didn't watch the movie until 5 years after it was released. Why would I, with Hollywood making movies the way they do? I already seen everything worth watching and a bunch of stuff that made me sick to my stomach. All right. I didn't see that sickening stuff because my brain still works. I popped on CHIPS because I loved CHIPS. I seen you were involved, and I realized I didn't know enough about you to condemn you. Terrible
Movie struggles between action and comedy with stupid sex jokes etc
It's a terrible watch with no plot
Had to turn it off half way through

The movie has little to do with the show, but it's funny and good, if you can stand above it, it's really good.
