    wasted effort
At one stage this looked like it could have potential. The beginning was rather boring and I checked e-mails and stuff for a while whilst listening in the background. It finally got a bit interesting, but then they just threw it all away. It was so silly - then the characters just became completely implausible in the way they acted.

They were all thoroughly unlikeable, so when the "plot twist" came you didn't really care one way or the other. As far as I was concerned they could all have just been eliminated, now THAT would have been more interesting. Bunch of idiotic entitled kids, you could not empathise with any of them.

I also hate movies that show harm to animals in any form at all.

    Gateway Stone
Locus Hunt (Tom Cullen) is a developer. He is making a high end community near the Gaeta Stone located on the Wick farm in a deal that landed in court. The first unit is ready for lease and Adam Davies (Iwan Rheon) and Eva Velasquez (Catalina Sandino Moreno) are ready to sign it. Eva is a renown artist and is making a sculpture for the courtyard. Lucus arrives that evening with his girlfriend Chloe (Inès Spiridonov). Locus is arrogant and Adam is not very brave. Their relationship is less friendship and more of tolerance. As secrets are reveal the scene becomes very tense and then there is the home invasion. Adam needs to step up his game..

The home invasion happens about an hour into the film. I like how they created the characters. I wish they had introduced a slight supernatural element.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

    Mangled story
This film mangles the story of this type of film. Annoying people with secrets come together. And then a seige happens, tormenting them. And more stupidity ensues. Actors do well with what they are given, but unfortunately, there is little given to them. Nothing new to this genre of film.

    It's just bad
I don't have a problem with lockdown movies. If the script is good, anything is watchable. In this case the script is just bad.

Usually you do not have to like the characters, it's ok to hate them, too. The worst thing would be you are bored with them..which is the problem here.

I simply don't care about them. So I have no affiliation with the hero/anti-hero/the villians/the bystanders. So I don't care who get killed or kills.

It's long, boring, contains stupid coversations, characters show incomprehensible actions and are full of cliche (which could be ok sometimes).
