Didn't love the thunder of this
It's a fun, goofy, turn your brain off and enjoy kind of film. Makes me laugh a lot. It's beautiful and colorful, expands the universe and gives us some of the characters best costume designs.

Unfortunately I think they wasted Christian Bale as an actor. I was super excited to see Gorr the God butcher but they show him killing one God and turn him into Gorr the child kidnapper.

Then at the end to give the kids the power of Thor like Odin does? Where did that power come from don't you think we could have used that during the Avenger movies??!?!

There are some cringy scenes but overall it's a fun enjoyable movie.

    Joke
This films the biggest joke in the history of mankind. It fights tooth and nail to make you believe Cancer is more than a PH imbalance in the human body of which requires more than someone pounding lemons and limes to alkalize the body cause you won't quit cramming sugar down your throat as though this were not 2024 and 99% of the human population had yet to discover Meditation & Yoga from this new invention called The Internet.

What kind of Big Pharma Funded Film is this you've got going here!? You make movies based on what the so called stars look like, the writer said, oh well, Ms. Portman is getting up there in age so let's go with she's got cancer so it fits her role.

All your films are the same debasement nonsense with zero creativity what so ever.

    The goats are cool.

    Not good at all
The movie was so so, i think the movie would be better. I think the ending should be, thor should use stormbreaker and gorr's should use meyonir Or thor make wish to heal cancer of mighty thor and they become a happy family.

All tho that was good enough Valkyrie desire thor has my opinion. The movie was not funny at all , the jokes were weaird. My full family watch this movie and they all say the same.

The writer should think a bit more about ending and joke's, At all i wish the next movie should be more better, more interesting and more funny and ending should be more better......... Thank you.

The Batman & Robin of Thor films, but not as good
Utterly appalling. Rubbish jokes and writing overall.

Its stupidly campy, had it been filmed a more serious tone and with better writing it could have been a decent film.

I really liked the tone of the first film, where it wasn't littered with forced jokes and the same goes for The Dark World. Ragnarok took a change and made it more lighthearted which worked for many audience (it was just ok for me) , but here they've double, no.... tripled down on the humour.

The only redeemable part of this awful film in my opinion was Christian Bale and the soundtrack was pretty decent too.

It is right up there with awful Superhero films like Batman & Robin and Superman IV but those films are better in my opinion.

Like a fart on a funeral. Taika what was that?!
I heard that Taika Waititi was a big joker, and I like that. But this time something didn't happen at all. "Love and Thunder" has way too high contrast between drama and jokes. Like Taika shot two movies at once--a drama about Thor and his lost love and a parody on Thor movies; and randomly mixed them together. And the jokes? Jesus Christ, reasoning the jealous axe with tickling it for relaxing the tense were awful. If it was a complete parody in Mel Brooks style, that would work, but this is a part of the official Marvel Cinematic Universe, Taika! What have you been thinking about?! And why the hell did the studio allow you to make THIS?!

As a result we got an awkward and chaotic story, a set of scenes poorly stiched together with awkward and inappropriate jokes. Some moments were really good, like Russel Crowe as Zeus or Christian Bale as Gorr. But in general it's really the worst part of MCU so far.

    It's so bad
I love Marvel however, this movie has damaged my love. There is no plot. The movie makes no sense. There's no explanation given for anything that happens in the movie and every scene. It's just like them trying to find a plot there's no character development. In fact there's character regression. The other Thor's are really good but this one is trash. Even the villain doesn't make sense. Literally nothing is explained. I think they spent all their money on cameos and cgi because I don't know where else it could have gone. Really a tragic downfall to this no longer awesome franchise. Natalie Portman is an amazing actress but something went wrong in this movie. She really hit rock bottom with this movie.

    Movie for 12 years olds
This movie was made for 12 years olds period. There is no way this movie was made for older adults. There are no stakes no intense scenes and a very very simple plot. Every scene is a comedy scene with an average punch line. No I mean it. EVERY scene is comedy and when you try to make EVERY damn scene a funny one then no-one is.

They should at least advertise it as is. A family comedy with your friendly goofy superhero Thor.

I feel that Taika Waititi played a prank on Chris Hemsworth. He had him bulked up and made himself literary a legit bodybuilder and when you see that physique you expect some intense scenes, showing how strong Thor is, make an argument for being the strongest avenger and instead he just made him a goofy clumsy bodybuilder. What na waste...

    Good for nothing
O Lord Buddha i hurt my eyes and my mind. I lost 1 hour of my life, every minute i thought that it comes good....but got worse. I could not keep on with the worst Thor ever. I was a Thor fan for over 50 years, like all super Hero story's is this the same. To big story. Just catch a thief or a hyjacker. Every time a bigger story is not big, but very small minded. Bale can not pull the whole movie, but he is awesome. Why do studio's not make a simple catch a thug story. They ruin every Superhero. Even a simpel fight they must make difficult. Which writer had the terrible accident and fell on his head while whriting it? And who thought he/she did not suck at this job. Go work somewhere else for a living. Clean the ocean, always a good job there.

No wonder why Robert Downey Jr left MCU
After Disney bought out MCU, strong scenario and strong acting have gone. I think producers in MCU tried very hard on creativity until MCU becomes side product of Disney. Instead of making better movies afterwards, producers of MCU settled on big pile of money and spoiled by it. Love and thunder & Madness of multiverse are disaster so far. Congrats guys.

Well, Christian Bale is my favorite actor, that s why I watch it. He has a talent for acting as both villain and hero. But still just one actor cannot save the show while scenario is collapsing. The reason why people go I think it is because they wish to see something similar to thor ragnarok again.

    My Scorecard (8.5)
Hard Rock and witty lines, loss and love, melancholy and comedy.

Marvellous oxymoronic plot, rendered in an astonishingly visual way.

This movie has it all, it remembers me of the first Deadpool movie, it was funny, it was sad, it had "thank god it all ended well" and "there are no real bad people, just broken ones" vibes.

From CGI to acting, from goat memes to fatty Zeus, it all was a worthy homage to internet pop culture and real superheroes movies.

This is what i look for if I want to see a Marvel movie. This is what I suggest to watch when you are with a group of friends. This is why cinema is still cinema and can never be beaten by television.

    Crazy good film, Super entertaining.

    SCORECARD

In a range from 1 to 5, i'll give a value to each entry written below. The final mark will be the weighted sum of each fraction:

    Subject (2.5) = 4/5 Development of the Subject (1.5) = 5/5 Direction/Screenplay (2) = 5/5 Attention (1) = 5/5 Recitation (1.5) = 5/5 Musical Score (0.5) = 5/5

    Final Mark: (2.5 x 4/5) + (1.5 x 5/5) + (2 x 5/5) + (1 x 5/5) + (1.5 x 5/5) + (0.5 x 5/5) = 8.5.

I gave 9 cos i liked the film.
