    Girls get it done
The plot and villain sucks but Bri Larson is a huge step up as Captain Marvel. Ms Marvel is AMZING best thing about the film! Plus her family and fury was fun and oh the Flurkin scene!!!

Zawe Ashton as Dar-Benn falls so flat to me. Bad lines, bad acting, bad driving part of the movie. The whole singing island part was weird and unnecessary because the dude speaks normally anyways! Also this takes place AFTER secret invasion and you would never know by the way Fury acts. Also WHY send the skrulls to earth where they are now being killed by normal humans?!

Bri Larson feels more settled into her role, Tayana Paris is alright, but Iman Vilani is amazing!

So bad they should pay you to watch it
By far the worst movie I've ever seen. I didn't expect much, as I just went with 2 friends who wanted to see a Marvel film.

Terrible special effects, awful acting, cringey jokes, embarrassingly bad fight scenes and a storyline (if you can call it that) to make you want to jump off a bridge.

Even if you were getting paid to watch this movie I would still say no as it's not worth the torture you will have to go through during the experience.

I would of left the cinema early, especially when they all started to sing, but one of my friends actually enjoyed it and wanted to watch it.

Maybe suitable for 11 years old and under.

Not great...and that's putting it nicely.
It's five stars for me...and I was feeling charitable. Maybe I am in the minority but I enjoyed "Captain Marvel". Unfortunately, the things that made me enjoy it aren't present in the sequel.

The movie is all over the place. Very hard to watch.

An overly-convoluted plot - a real hallmark of recent Marvel and DC comic book hero movies, largely to their detriment - with cookie-cutter action. All the action sequences have been done before, and better. There were no major set pieces that really stood out to me.

On the acting front: Brie Larson did what she could with what she was given, which wasn't a whole lot, to be honest. Same goes for Samuel L. Jackson as a tired-looking Nick Fury. The rest of the cast were...just bland.

Even though "The Marvels" was shorter than your average Marvel film, it was still a huge slog for me.

If this is the Marvel standard going forward, they should just stop. Quit while they're only a little bit behind.
