Absolute decline of a universe that is far from being what it was
In direct line with the decline of Marvel since End Game.

To think that the first Ant Man movie had been a pleasant surprise and, although the second had been average to a fault, this third part exceeds expectations (for the worse).

We can approach from many places because he is terrible.

From performances, implausible script, the presentation of a bad guy like Kang who instead of being scary ends up being defeated because that's how it was written.

We are introduced to a Cassie Lang who has no charisma, a Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer who are just collecting a check and nothing more. Even Paul Rudd who is always good fails in his performance. Cameo by Bill Murray is forgettable and I could continue describing for parts.

At the special effects level it is also a disaster. The problems that Marvel has presented in these years at that level are well known, but here they were overcome, once again, for the worse. Look at what MODOK is, see what the quantum realm looks like, the facial rejuvenation and an endless number of failures that put this movie in the top 3 or top 5 of worst MCU projects in 15 years.

As with The Marvels, She Hulk, Echo or Secret Invasion, Marvel has to change, if it doesn't it is destined for a failure of biblical proportions...

Not an 8, but not quite a 9 either. 8.5!
I think people don't know how to appreciate movies anymore. Is this the best MCU movie ever made? Probably not. But its not bad by any stretch of how some critics perceive the direction of the MCU.

Don't forget that this is an on going story, not a one off thing. If you have not seen Loki, then your missing a huge part of this movie. You have to think of this as one big story told over many movies and TV shows throughout decades. There is nothing else quite like it. Star Wars. Star Trek. Could even through Lord of the Rings. You have to see this movie as a small part of a larger story.

In this one, you have an 'average guy' that defeated the most powerful being in all of time. More powerful then all the Avengers combined! They do it where no one thinks could exist. What such creativity! Can you imagine?

And that is probably why at the heart of why MCU, and Disney, is 'losing' favorably. They are creating stories people don't understand. Pushing the boundaries of what is normal and average. Average people want average things. Look at car colors as an example. We once wanted a variety of colors, now everyone wants to blend in and become the same. They choice black or white, or something in between.

Tall Poppy Syndrome. Look it up.

Keep growing tall MCU/Disney! I get it and I want more of it!

    A good third outing
I enjoyed the original, introducing hope was good for the sequel and now here we are.after the snap and helping save the world Scott lang is living his best life. He has a book and people adore him. His daughter Cassie has been gone so long she's changed actress and seeing Kathryn Newton is a good cast and she's a lot like her father. Cassie has created a messaging system to the quantum realm. But in true marvel style disaster strikes and teleports them both , along with her aunt and grandparents down. But a new threat is looming and something that could be the next thanos. I appreciate the humour side of things with the antman films. Casting was great and there was good action. Look forward to seeing what comes next.
