    Should've known
I expected it to be bad but then I went in with an open mind and an impartial opinion but gosh, was I extra disappointed. The kid was annoying, the acting was terrible, the comedy was bland and dry, this even gives slapstick comedy a bad name. Humour could not be found in the pathetic display of traps and injury. Even as irony, it has failed.

I suggest that they stop trying to remake the classics, when something is broken, you do not fix it. The original is a timeless classic and does well to carry itself, even in the new generation and new audiences. I feel bad for the kid that has to watch this and think that this is the peak.

White privileged kid doubles down after theft
Give Ellie and Rob their own show and let Aisling on it as a regular guest.

The premise of the show is awful.

A spoil rich kid steals a rare doll out of spite then when the real owners try to get it back, he attacks them.

Aisling's talent is wasted in this movie and she deserved a much better role.

Ellie and Rob however are perfectly suited for the slapstick comedy and are the only real reason to waste your time on this movie.

Typically British take though, take something that doesn't belong to you, then fight the rightful owners when they try to retrieve it. More an allegory than an entertaining movie.

Anyway, PLOT TWIST (not really), it wasn't the kid who stole it and they've terrorised a pre-teen but now both families are friends.

    WHY JUST WHY
Home Alone 1 & 2 are my fav ourit movies why did they have to ruin them this movie is so not home alone not even close they should've called it something else and for some reason the main character had a punchable face. AND WHY DID THEY BRING Devin Ratray AS Buzz McCallister AND MADE HIM LIKE THAT,The plot is the worse there's no character development. The effects are so bad too at night you can tel it's cgi. The traps are also so bad. Just an awful film. They just need to stop doing this, please, it doesn't matter if it's a disney movie now, with a better production, set, and people, it's impossible,FOR movie repeating the same thing from the original,Home Sweet Home Alone is a predicted disappointment.

Best home alone since part 2
Yes it's redundant and yes it's cliche at this point, but this movie is much funnier and funner than any of the movies in this series sunset part 2. 1/2 are head and shoulders better, but home sweet home alone has some genuinely hilarious moments and is a fun watch. I'm not an adult child so it doesn't bother me that it's a knock off of the original or whatever these babies are complaining about. The movie pokes fun at itself as well. Having buzz in it is a great throwback. It's an interesting twist having both the robbers and the kid ultimately be likeable, relatable, and redeeming characters. My whole family enjoyed it, I've watched it many times and would recommend it to anyone who isn't a grinchy miserable scrooge.

    Ughhhh, make it stop!
Another terrible move sequel in a long sad history of terrible move sequels. I watched it thinking it can't be that bad, but it is, it is that bad. It's as though you have this numbness in watching it. You think it can't get worse, and it does. You still delude yourself into thinking it will get better an somehow it fails you again. Then the movie ends, and you have this stunned sense of how could they make such a terrible move. That's when it helps if you remember 2 words "Cash Grab". This is the only way you can justify the train wreck that you just witnessed. Please, save yourself the trauma and subsequent therapy required for watching such garbage.

    How this cast even happen
Worst cast. Didn't even want to see the movie after seeing the cast people. Even a parody movie will be better.

How can they even ruin a classic hit movie. How can this director of the movie even call himself a director.
