    RITCHIE'S BEST...?
Guy Ritchie's latest from 2021 finds him reuniting w/his occasional go to guy Jason Statham in this potent tale of revenge & the lengths one man will go to achieve it. Told in a non-linear fashion under 4 chapter headings, we see Statham's son being killed when an armored car robbery goes bad (w/shades of the opening theft from Heat) but being a crime boss he has his men beat the bushes to find the culprits only to yield nothing so he decides to infiltrate the armored car concern to ferret out who was responsible. As the drama plays out, Statham's determination knows no bounds as we finally get a glimpse of the perpetrators (an elite military squad which consists of Jeffrey Donovan, Scott Eastwood & Laz Alonso) planning their last heist (at the armored car depot) w/Statham lying in wait to pounce. Probably Richie's most mature film to date (based on a 2004 French movie named Le Convoyeur) which initially had me worried when his predilection for his laddism (immature character nicknames) was at the fore but once the hook of the plot locks on, I was entranced. Also starring Holt McCallany, Eddie Marsan & Josh Hartnett as Statham's fellow co-workers, Post Malone as a thief in over his head & Andy Garcia in a small role as a fed in thrall to Statham.

Definitely one of the best Jason Statham's movies
Wrath of Man follows an obscure character working for a cash truck company that transports a significant amount of money throughout Los Angeles. After an incident, he leaves everyone in the company surprised by his skills.

A solid Guy Ritchie crime thriller that fulfills every expectation and delivers every minute if you want to see action and crime. Definitely one of the best Jason Statham's movies. Well crafted entertainment from beginning to end with narrative dynamics that achieve suspense by telling the story in a non-linear fashion making the movie a puzzle that is being completed before our eyes.

    Solid Action Movie
Definitely Recommended! A solid Jason Statham movie.

PROS: There was A LOT I enjoyed in this movie! It's a BAD A** KICK A** Action Packed Movie. The story was complex and good, a lot of moving parts.

CONS: The only things missing, were a few times the story didn't flow as well as it could or wasn't easily followed. With so many complex aspects to the story, it needs to be delivered seamlessly. Then on the visual side, some of the action didn't look natural. As for a few pieces of the story (I won't spoil too much) it wasn't my favorite direction (which would have gotten it an extra star had it been different).

Jason's movies never fail to impress.
Such is the image that Jason has managed to create, just cannot stop watching his movies. This is another very good movie in his series of movies. The movie is so well made and carries it's theme so well through the entire movie without any diversion. The movie does not waste any time nor there are any unwanted scenes.

The music is another plus point of the movie. The theme background music with runs throughout the movie is so aptly suited that it just gets into you. The scenes and Screenplay is so well done that it keeps you to think on what is going to happen in the next scene

Well done to the entire team.

    Wrath of Statham
Statham still has it. Even with the martial arts action cooled down, he still personifies the ultra-skilled, ultra-smart, no nonsense, irrepressible free agent who holds a grudge. This film is the perfect venue for showcasing his character and prowess. Albeit a bit convoluted, the plot plays & ends well. Casting and supporting performances are excellent, with Andy Garcia adding a professional poise to the mayhem.

Let me repeat that, since its saying I'm 184 characters short: Statham still has it. Desperately Amazonian
Amazon is so desperate for any wins that it will sponsor whatever movies that could help it's desinftranchised movie wing. Take Jason Statham, and make him the hero of a bad guys movie. What could go wrong? Oh yeah, they had to make him the head of a violent organization of gangsters. Why would you care care about him? It's not like he had his dog killed like in John Wick. No, you're supposed to care because his soy joke of a son gets shot in a random heist. Nobody takes it seriously, not even Stratham as he only stops the bad guys from stealing some bank monies. It really suuuccckks.
