Fully watchable
This is an enjoyable movie, just don't expect it to be the next Saw. This is more of a soundtrack movie than a horror movie. That's probably why a lot of the lower level characters are played by members of the band by the same name who also wrote the theme song. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot that are big misses in the movie, but if you're bored and just want a good revenge movie to watch this will fill that pretty easily. It's not on the level of I Spit on your Grave, American Merry, or any of the other great revenge horror, but its watchable.

Bloody fun mayhem
The plot is a bit twisty and fast-paced. I loved most of the music and the overall atmosphere was fun, exciting action/gore. A lot of it was predictable but in a good way because I was excited to see it all play out. The acting was not amazing, but it was certainly watchable. Simply enjoyable entertainment that doesn't layer in deep, heavy themes and symbolism like most of the horror movies these days. The characters were very interesting, though not a whole lot of depth to them. The movie didn't take itself too seriously. Every scene had something fun going on, I watched the whole thing without getting distracted. I wish they had gone down a darker path with the story and dialed back on the comedy gore so I could really feel connected to the main character, but overall I thought it was great. - arfdawg-1 - 5 March 2023
Pretty Bad
I knew this flick was gonna be bad when early on there was a jump scare for a scene that wasnt so scary.
The movie suffers on many fronts.
It's really poorly directed. And I mean REALLY.
The story is sort of dumb, but the writing is even worse.
The acting is marginally acceptable, but not by much.
The special effects are the level of a 1980 slasher movie. And not a good one.
The story line is all over the place. Is this a horror movie? Is it a drug movie? Is it a serial killer movie? Is it all ov the above?

Huh?
This movie reeks of someone who has put together every idea, theme, concept they've ever had and poured them all into one movie.. but mostly a dark revenge saga meets an Evil Dead style action horror.. To be fair that's pretty much the modus operandi of most of the early Grindhouse/exploitation era of films which were generally cauldrons of crazy clashing ideas, outrageous exploitation, infused with some kind of social message.. but I digress.. The real confusion here is that the imprisoned drugged out criminals & lowlifes look, act and growl like zombies.. which is never actually explained. All that said it is mildly entertaining, if unintentionally camp and amusing.. though I have no proof that wasn't their actual intent. - zinprincess - 3 October 2022
Thrills and Chills
My husband and I watched in the theater and came out wanting to watch it again right away!
EPIC action packed in your face thriller...what a ride!
This movie with its killer soundtrack will have your heart pumping from the start. Jacoby Shaddix was very impressive and wickedly creepy, the cameos were a stellar. We appreciated the connections the cast made with the audience, effectively drawing out sympathy and disgust...a wide arrange of emotions.
There was just enough shocking yuck mixed with classic suspense and a really heart wrenching story timing it all together.
We give this move an A+++++++
