Pure drivel; decent acting but RIDICULOUS half-baked story
I rarely leave reviews with spoilers, but I'm afraid this movie requires it. First off, a full 2 HOURS was WAY too long. They stretched and added scenes that had no added value to the film. Example: a man enters a home to kill two brothers. He instantly kills one but can't find the other, instead he finds an innocent bystander. Rather than instantly kill her and find the missing man (or flee after the loud gun shots), he does this agonizingly horrible dance with the terrified girl for what seemed an eternity before finally shooting her dead. So stupid.

Same man needs to kill a man/victim in a hospital that presumably would be guarded by police following a violent robbery. Not only no police, but no hospital personnel NOR SURVEILLANCE cameras; he just walks into the room and kills the man, undaunted.

Rather than list all the ridiculous blunders, I'll cut to the end. The bad guys get the money, then instead of hiding out or leaving, they go to where ALL the cops are and start a shoot-out, one of them planning to just die anyway (what??). Then, the mother they were trying to get out of prison, for which they failed, is suddenly and inexplicably just released to an attorney, NO EXPLANATION.

This movie is one serious turd burglar, hope you don't waste your time like I did.

Quite unbelievable. The end was crap.
This film was moderately entertaining up until a certain point. The last portion of the film completely fell apart, it was totally unnecessary, anybody with half a brain would have simply left town immediately. But then again I guess we weren't dealing with particularly smart people. Nonetheless the film disintegrated in the last 20 minutes, the writers and the director had no idea how to end this thing.

Take a pass and save your time.

    Don't get it sometimes
Of all the crap we've had to deal with in Movies, since the Covid took over every aspect of our lives whether infected or Forced , Quality of movies has really suffered also. Actors are trying to work at a fevered pitch taking any role to make ends meet in the sense of an actor's ends. Independent films are always gems, best movies without all the Hoopla. This movie has a great cast, rising Frank Grillo, and always Good Melissa Leo give this film grit believable without going over the top- good actors can do this no matter what script they're giving, these 2 accomplished that. Forsythe is now pigeon holed so same acted as his last dozen films, Harnett is the headliner with a little bit of criminal sympathy is ok, Slaine is good as Bro n law trapped in criminal family as a Cop, Hublitz of Ozark fame is not very likable bout like her Ozark role same person. This movie has been seen or done a 100 times a 100 different ways but to say this movie is terrible is not true. The journey has its flaws but if u don't fancy yourself as a grade A critic it's very entertaining. I liked it very much and that's all I can ask for in today's Marvel Super Hero world that's contracting our good actors into playing Comic characters to unheard of $$$$ instead of acting in movies with teeth. That's the movie business now Loud unreal CGI wonders peddling to the 13 to 50yr olds, the latter which is still hooked on the Super Hero . This movie is Good not Great but watchable and much enjoyed by me. So give it a chance and leave your morals at the door watch it independently of comparison. Solid 7.
