Running over the same old ground
If you are looking for a movie with a lot of action and not such a powerful story, you are in the right place. If you are looking for a movie with good characters and good acting, you will get only half of that.

First, let's talk about the actors and the characters. Immortan Joe, who also appeared as a character in Fury Road, is amazing with all the makeup, mask, and everything; he looks great as an antagonist in a movie like this. But we've already seen that, so there won't be as much excitement around him as there was in the previous part. The new character now is Dementus, played by Chris Hemsworth.

The only role in this movie that I don't think is appropriate is this one. As an antagonist, he looks 'OK' with all the beard, hairstyle, and his, let's call it unique vehicle. But Chris Hemsworth feels like he is not acting; he is just saying his lines, and that's not how his character should have been portrayed. I really expected more from him, to be a more intimidating character in the film, like Immortan Joe was.

About the story: Is it good? No. Is it better than Fury Road? In some parts, yes. Like most of today's action movies, this one doesn't have a big or interesting story. The movie is interesting, but not because of the story it's the action that makes it engaging, just like it was in Fury Road, at least for me.

Fury Road was better for me. Although it didn't have a very good story, it was good because it was something new, something that wasn't seen before in action movies. Furiosa would have been a good movie if the movie came out before Fury Road maybe better.

"Cinema must be a spiritual experience, not just a means of escape or entertainment. Commercial cinema often sacrifices artistic integrity for profit." - Andrei Tarkovsky.

So much CG mixed with reality
I wish I could love this movie as i loved Tom Hardy's but i cant. First one of Tom's was a real genuine movie based on actual real actions but this one although is fun but from start till end is full of CGs mixed with reality and the most funny part is CG is so visible on a big screen and can be noticed clearly that this scene is not real and is all CG and that makes me thing how come Miller made both but in the first one much less of CG but more reality and of course there was a lot CG but it was done in much really way that human eyes will have difficulty in ditinguishing it but here in this movie almost in every scene my eyes were telling that this is CG and not real. Sound and stunts were great which is really enjoyed.

    A proper origin story!
It's not better or worse than the first film, it's work in its own right. As an origin story, it works wonderfully, everything that happens to the main character and how it happens just makes sense.

Fury Road didn't need to look into the inner workings of those post-apoclytpic societies, it would have been out of place. Here, it just makes sense.

And there's a not-so-subtle message in depicting all the panic at the time of the apocalyptic event.

The movie is not without its faults. It's needlessly long, for example. But those are faults of a really good movie.

Keep your expectations at bay and just watch the movie.

A good sequel hindered by its over use of mediocre CGI and green screen.
    Plot/Story: 8/10 Directing: 9/10 Writing: 8/10 Editing/Pace: 8/10 Acting: 9/10 Visual Effects: 5/10 Cinematography: 7/10 Musical Score: 7/10 Set and Costume Design: 9/10 Entertainment Value: 8/10

    Overall = 7.8/10

A good sequel to Mad Max: Fury Road that has great performances by Anya Taylor Joy and probably one of Chris Hemsworth's best performance, but the action scenes were hindered by the overuse of very noticeable CGI and green screen which has taken me out of every action scene in this movie. The bar for practical effects and special effects were set so high by the predecessor to the point where even George Miller couldn't replicate the feel of the action in this movie.

    Green screen and plastic
The whole movie seems to be made in front of a green screen with really bad CGI. It all feels fake and plasticy.

How on earth do these people live like cavemen, yet they are all clean, wear clean clothes, their bikes look like they just left the showroom....absolutely ridiculous.

While I'm not a huge fan of Fury Road, that film at least had some credibility and authenticity, the vehicles were work of art. Furiosa has nothing of that.

Even a big Hollywood name like Chris Hemsworth can't save this mess, and to be honest, his performance was on the same level of mediocrity as the rest of the film.

Only redeeming point was that I streamed the film and didn't waste any money on it.
