Jeepers, this was, something...
Ummm ok now listen, I don't think this was quite as bad as people are making it out to be... a 2.5 is a tad harsh haha. Now with that being said, it certainly wasn't great by any means.
It didn't feel closely enough related to the other three to really be involved so it kind of just felt like a stand alone. It looked decent with some cool effects... they tried to infuse a story into it which I appreciated, even if it was a tad sloppy. Unfortunately the acting was not very good, I didn't love the changes they made to the creeper, it had an vey indie feel (not in an great way) and it was just over all not very scary.
I was expecting this to be god awful and it wasn't THAT bad so I guess it exceeded expectations... however it still wasn't good. I don't think I could recommend it. - eryavuzserap - 2 April 2024

My god! They ruined one of the best series of my life. How can there be such a bad scenario! Those effects, the awfulness of the backgrounds! How come all the people who wrote and shot this didn't watch the first movie? Or 2, or 3.. they are all great but this one SUCKS! What has become of the creeper we know? He became the type of person who listens to music, collaborates with people and takes what they choose. As far as I know, he would choose from what he came across :) very bad, very bad. Embarrassing it's that bad
Original is scary It had a jumpy edge to it Not the best filmography but still you wanna watch it This reborn film is just pathetic The original creeper was mysterious This one is just a geezer in a creeper suit who likes showing his teeth now and again I can't actually believe that I've sat through it The actors and acting is appalling I'm sure not one of these actors will never get another job on the back of this one Once again I'm sat here writing this review and I've run out of things to say because it doesn't deserve writing about Pointless remake that to be fair doesn't make sense either The old couple on the road at the beginning looked promising They are scared to death but then go to THE HOUSE All down hill from then. - olcayozfirat - 1 January 2023
I want to cry
The first movie was really good. It was both exciting and mysterious. The second movie wasn't bad as it coincided with the 23rd day of the first movie. Then in the 3rd part actually the place is 1.5. The sequel was filmed. In other words, the movie ended as of the end of the second episode.
Now they couldn't stand it and shot another episode.
Horror movie of 2022. Broken from the 3 parts made before, only the creature is similar. I say similar because even that is not the same. Something like a jester. I think there is a deep structure established to disgrace this kind of one or two-part films. The creature fights hand to hand. It's funny but not funny. The plot is bad, the effects and make-up are terrible, the acting is mediocre. I'm sure the majority of the audience watched it for the sake of the first movie and they all regretted it.
Still, I'll point it out for those who will watch. Sex and nudity are ignored in the film. - arsdeviu - 24 December 2022
Total letdown
I will keep it simple : if you enjoyed the first 2 ones, don't bother with Reborn. Everything is bad, the dialogue, the acting (so infantile and flat) , the boring and annoying characters ,but the atrocity of all atrocities are the special effects. Holly peepers!! Haven't seen so many bad effects since Birdemic.
Is like they are daring us to watch it and then say "oh well! It was kind of ok" IT WAS NOT.
The "team of professionals" who created, this movie were 100% not in their right minds. Actually the guilty ones were the ones who invested in this movie. Just watch or rewatch the first two films. - cmeza-43956 - 8 December 2022
Absolute dumpster fire
Don't get me wrong I loved JC 1-2 but 3-4 just ruined it and didn't get me intrigued at all. This makes 3 look way better than this. I was so i intrigued when I heard and saw that a fourth movie to this series was announced. And I was so hyped and now I see to never be to intrigued to something until it's been released to see a bit and read reviews beforehand. One plus that came out of this though is the fact I saw it for free, but the time wasted on this will never be given back. And I'm also writing this as I'm in the house scene towards the end and wanna stop so badly but can't as I've already wasted my time watching this. - Reasting - 16 November 2022

Honestly, the only horrifying thing about this "horror" is its existence.
What a way to wreck another franchise, by turning it into a collection of all the known movie sins.
Spare yourself the pain of watching this sell out of a soulless failed money grab.

Jeepers creepers has so much potential but reborn was the worst . Who ever did this to reborn u eeeff..ed up take it off and redo it the right way. You killed a great movie if i had the time i would rewrite this for you.. did no one review this before its was approved . I mean why would someone want to destroy the story line. Who ever approved reborn to even go into productions needs to be evaluated this was a poor choice oc story line i would pull this from every movie platform and wipe its exsitance clean from online and re do this the right way . If u need help contact me i could have done better in 4 days fixing your poor story line for reborn ....MAKE JEEPERS CREEPERS GREAT AGAIN.
