Vendetta

When his daughter is murdered, William Duncan takes the law into his own hands, setting out on a quest for retribution. After killing the street thug responsible for her death, he finds himself in the middle of a war with the thug's brother, father, and their gang, who are equally hell-bent on getting even. What ensues is a tense back-and-forth game of vengeance. By the end, William comes to find that the quest for revenge never has a winner.

    Not as bad as it's portrayed in reviews, imho.... but.
    For me at least I found this movie, not as bad as it's portrayed in reviews, and in reality not a bad movie, as there are some pretty well known names in this basically what is a B movie, Bruce Willis, Thomas Jane, Theo Rossi, Clive Standen plays lead, as a man whose daughter is killed by a bunch of gangsters in an initiation killing, Clive Standen (Vikings, Taken) perhaps less well known, but is emerging as a decent action hero in the vein of Statham and Adkins.

    Some really decent performances from these guys especially Theo Rossi (sons of anarchy) who plays a total Psycho particularly well.

    What I couldn't take was the sound basically the engineer on this movie needs sacking, sometimes you couldn't hear the dialogue for the over powering music, then when there was no music, the dialogue was was so inaudible and echoed it was impossible to hear, also some of the direction was pretty poor and the some of the camera angles were pretty bad.

    Ok so I'm sounding hearse but what could have been a pretty decent movie is let down by poor camera work, poor direction and in post production really poor sound quality and over powering music, 6/10 for me.

    V is for Vendetta
    And not for Viking(s) - no pun intended. If you have seen the Vikings tv show, I am certain you get the reference (what with Clive Standen being the main character in this and one of the main characters of the show). That all being said, Clive is not even the biggest name here. Or the only tv show represented. You also have Theo Rossi from Sons of Anarchy ... but of course the biggest name here is ... Bruce Willis! Though to be fair - even if you have heard of his sickness, he has made so many movies, that you may have gotten sick of him (no pun intended or offense for that matter).

    We also have others like Thomas Jane and so forth. But the standout performance comes from Theo Rossi. And it is quite refreshing to have a bad guy who is ... well as over the top as you can imagine. That doesn't mean that the movie will make sense to you ... actually, it doesn't make a lot of sense ... so better not to think about it. Just watch it for the entertainment this tries to provide. Then you can have fun and just enjoy the madness you are being served ... be it the predictable plot or the worst criminals you may have witnessed ...

    Too much money on actors
    A movie, that seems to have paid actors too big for those roles. All money clearly went on the actors. Choreography was at its lowest level possible. A marine swinging his legs while running, while shooting worse than a low level young gangster, and doing worse hand-to-hand combat than young gangsters. Saving the gangsters father for the same pain he caused the retired marine who served for 5 years.

    Even put some muscle training scenes in with the marine, to make him look strong and bad for nothing. Not only that he buys hell alot of weapons to just use a gun. Oh and of course the sniper he uses once shooting 2 or 3 shots where he could hit bottles from a good distance, and not hitting 3 gangsters standing 20 meters from his motel room. Hes a marine for gods sake who is aparrently worse than a normal father.

    What could've been a good morvie, sadly turned the opposite way.

    I wish i could get my 2 hrs life back, but sadly, with life, thats just not an option.

    Shame on Bruce Willis!!!!!
    I decided to watch this movie because of the name "Vendetta" and Bruce Willis. I was surprised to see such a low rating especially a Bruce Willis movie.

    First of all to see the character that he played was a huge turn off, I don't want to say much without giving it away. It was a crazy story line and pretty disturbing in the beginning. It started to pick up a bit but unfortunately not enough for my taste. The music was even B rate. If there's nothing else to watch give it a shot maybe I'm being a bit too harsh but I don't think sooooo.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dhggxhufufududufjfudhfhfjdkydhfjfdyduduujduuffjfjdjkfhfjsydyryeudkkblhhdgzxhdhcjgsyjydhiifhdfifhfyfjyifgsggittsv.
