I mean, I told you not to go in that house. I mean...
For just a brief moment let's put aside everything else and give a round of applause at what could be the longest, and greatest punch-to-a-joke of all time.

The film could be that simple. And that's it's beauty.

It could be about racial tensions but I don't care about any of that (I want your eyes) nor deny its inherent humor (Peele I feel gets this as well)

It could be a simple love story about a somewhat submissive man and his manipulative girlfriend.

The awkwardness of meeting a lovers parents and feeling out of place.

The awkwardness of when someone doesn't know how to treat you like a normal person so they double down so much you want to die inside.

It could be about a family cooperating..oddly..

It could be about how we don't feel comfortable in our own skin. So, we try to live through others lives and cultures-with good intentions even (at first) that become so aggressive- the intentions turn diabolical and we forget who the hell we even are until its to late....

....and your bestie rolls up to tell you "I told you so!"

It could be a lot of things-It is a magnitude of wonderful things.

    Bravo Jordan, Hats Off!

    This movie is a masterpiece
If you have seen the movie Skeleton Key, it gives me that vibe just in modern times. It's thrilling but still a simple movie plot that you can just read. Jordan peele really knows how to create something special. I would really like to see a sequel to this movie not too many just one more but the ending was perfect enough too. I love that we see the victim win. The cops out of all people should have acted immediately because if someone is missing for that long and there was a witness to the victim as well I wouldn't have played it off as something minor. But, Jordan has created a well done film.

    A Groundbreaking Film
Jordan Peele's debut film, "Get Out", combines horror, suspense, and social criticism perfectly. His ability to portray such a powerful message though astonishing cinematography is something that will leave you mind blown. Personally, this is one of my favorite films that I have watched in the past year, as It truly is a masterpiece in my eyes.

The film follows Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), a young Black man, as he visits his white girlfriend's family(Allison Williams), only to uncover a sinister conspiracy. As the thriller goes on, viewers are introduced to the amazing camerawork and visuals that enhance the sense of unease, drawing them deeper into the story. What sets "Get Out" apart is its ability to tackle serious themes with intelligence and the right amount of humor, yet never feeling too preachy. There are so many moments throughout the film that had my jaw on the floor, especially when the pieces of the puzzle started to all come together. The suspense and character development as the film moves really shows the smart and creative mind of Peele.

In addition to the phenomenal acting of Daniel Kaluuya, the supporting cast, Rod Williams, Bradley Whitford, and Catherine Keener, deliver equally compelling performances. Overall, "Get Out" is a modern classic that deserves all the praise it has received.

Below average rip-off - watch "The Skeleton Key" instead
Poor Ehren Kruger. It had to be very tough for him to see Jordan Peele getting a screenplay Oscar for a script HE wrote originally with the title "The Skeleton Key". But the Oscars have always been a joke (especially in the last 20-22 years) so the so-called "Academy" thought that Peele's Oscar is not only a screenplay Oscar but also an "Original" screenplay Oscar. They obviously had someting against Mr. Kruger. And it is also very sad that a very well written script gets (currently) 6.5 and this overhyped rip-off is 7.7 which is better than Ari Aster's two masterworks, "Midsommar" and "Hereditary" which were the absolute highlights of the horror genre recently. I watched these two and "The Skeleton Key" a couple of times now and still find lots of class in them. Meanwhile "Get Out" is an absolutely average slasher pushed by hype, hype and hype.

    Genius Horror Thriller!!
This movie has everything a good thriller needs. It isn't a Horror movie in the first place, it is rather a thriller with some really good horror aspects.

The Horror scenes burn into your Head so good are they. In every seen there's just so much tension like literally in every scene, it's amazing. The Cast is so great and not to mention the cinematography, which is on point in every scene.

The only negative aspect that holds this movie on a 9/10 is the End. It's just not worthy of the first and second Act. But beside that this movie makes everything right, also the writing.

Sadly Jordan Peeles next movies aren't as good as this movie but they are still worth watching.

Politics aside this is just a good film
This film is simply good on so many levels. I personally would normally disagree with the film's political issues, but the political issues raised don't try to batter its audience with ridiculous left statements of fact but rather presents a viewpoint different than mine, while I vehemently disagree with the logic in the theories I can't deny it's how some people feel, and in this case the horror aspects of the film are more than enough to overcome a case of being preachy, besides unlike his other works he presents the social issues in a way that might a actual cause a discussion verses a pointless political fight, a soft hand that sadly he will later lose with other films. As far as the film it really works as a great horror movie. The writer creates a outstanding sense of dread in every scene, the story is tight and horrifying, and it's directed in a style which would have made Hitchcock proud. The camera work is excellent, there were so many shots that used the camera to just add to the sense of doom. The acting is spot on, and the level of talent behind the camera is clearly evident. I don't like spoilers in reviews so I will just say the film borrowed from a certain horror film from the 70's, but then turns it into a story all their own.

    What did i just watch??
All surprises were predictible. All of the characters were stereotypes. How old are writer and director? 15? Its such a cruel world, most of the people who watched this movie liked it. This is cruel for people who have refine movie pleasure. I have a few sentences for the who likes this movie. This is a terrible childrens show but you dont have the ability recognize it. And probably you dont have sophisticated movie knowledge. Hence you don't have a comparative perspective. You should read about Plato's cave allegory then you can understand what i'm talking about. You don't have any idea about what is a good movie.
