    Visually stunning
This movie, about a warrior named Raya who is determined to find the last dragon, is a good adventure epic movie!

It gets slightly overshadowed by the overload of comedy because it rarely relies on complete seriousness, especially with its important scenes, which makes some of the depth fade away. Also, while the backstory is strong, the overall plot is somewhat predictable, making it not as engaging as wanted. To add, I personally do not like the design of Sisu because she looks more like a dragon from a toy collection of a girl. I think Sisu would look much better with a more primitive look because she feels too cartoonish.

However, the strong elements shine the most. It is visually stunning with its incredible animation, beautiful colors, and impressive world building and design. The movie is a feast for the eyes because almost every frame looks like a wallpaper. The cinematography, choreography, and score make the movie even more captivating, and although the plot is somewhat predictable, the movie manages to mostly prioritize its storytelling by showing rather than telling.

In conclusion, despite some shortcomings in plot and character design, this movie is visually remarkable. The animation, world-building, and action sequences are a treat to watch. While the story itself might not surprise seasoned viewers, the movie prioritizes impactful visuals and storytelling through action over lengthy exposition.

    Very entertaining and beautiful
I thought it was a very entertaining movie with gorgeous animation and music. It uses a mix of cliche and original ideas, which makes it familiar enough to be easy to watch, but original enough to make you curious. I loved the world and culture building and I somehow find myself craving more of it. The story, setting and characters would make for a excellent adventure video game, combining Uncharted gameplay with God of War interaction with the environment, and perhaps turn-based combat would suit it well... Anyway, just an enjoyable movie with great animations, music, world building, voice cast and characters.

One of the heart touching movie. Must watch movie
The story is heart touching and very super dooper. After finishing the movie I felt great it tells the importance of trust. This movie can express the great meaning of "TRUST". Anyway this is a super animation movie. I am waiting for this kind of movie.this will teach us what is trust between others. In this movie the characters are great and the graphics is amazing. The places in the movie are great if I had a chance to go there I will not return to my place I will live there happily. The one hour of the film don't bore you. And once again I remember you it is not consume your valuable time i will 100% promise you.

Visually stunning, but forgetable and disappointing.
I expected much more from Disney. I am giving 3/10, and that is pretty much only because the Movie is visually beautiful and there isn't anything outright insulting. Though you will probably forget this movie in a week (in Fact I can´t recall it at and I am translating my review from a local database).

The main issue is the storytelling, or the lack thereof. The material which would need a series is being cramped into 2 hours, so the result is like comparing the animated Avatar with the Last Airbender movie. Except, unfortunatelly you are watching the movie. The viewer is constantly fed exposition about the setting, the mythology all at the expense of the characters whom you care nothing about. Add to that some forced gags with a baby or the big armadilo thing for entertaining the children in the audience and that is pretty much the movie.

The Main Character, Raya is alright. Her oponent is also intriguing but they'd deserve a much better story. The mother of the oponent character hints at some plan or som betrayal which leads nowhere. It makes me think, that there were originally a different ending to the story where the princess would change her mind and go against her clan. Instead we get a generic resolution with the message of trusting people that keep stabbing you in the back... what a great lesson!

The main antagonist in the form of some purple mist is barely worth a mention. It is simply an antagonistic McGuffin Cloud that does stuff to make the plot happen, but you have no idea where it came from, why it does things, how it works... Every person that turns to stone ends up taking the same straight standing pose, except for the characters at the climax of the movie, because I guess something more dramatic was needed.

I did not like the design of the dragon one bit. It is probably supposed to be appealing to little girls with it being a pretty much a My little pony ripoff. I am not a little girl, so I can't properly judge how sucessfull that was. If you ask me, the Dragon looks like a rainbow toilet brush with an irritating voice and personality.

Based on the trailer alone, this movie felt empty and watching the whole thing left me with exactly that feeling. There is no spark, nothing interesting. It is a generic product by cynical suits in a focus group who needed to produce another movie and tick a bunch of boxes while doing it. There is no inspiration, no love for the story. I feel sorry for the visual artists, because their work is excellent. The movie really looks extremely good, but their tallent would have been better used on an actual story.

The kids will probably be entertained by this movie, but there are so many better movies from Disney they could watch instead. Brave, Moana, Frozen, Tangled to name a few from their recent ones and all of them are leagues better than this one. Not recomended, just skip.

    It's a next level
Raya and the last dragon was the best animated movie i've watched with the highest curiousity. The animation is just wonderful. Disney really gave us what we always expected they would give us. A new hero. Raya's courage can really give us better experiences for a disney movie. Expecting more like these.

    Nice one
Disney's latest is, in many ways, a film that fits the mold of what's come before, but it is also an overdue step in a new direction. It is a good film with a few holes that ultimately gets by on the strength of its grand finale. While it doesn't reach any revelatory heights, the film does extenuate the allures of Disney's enduring magic and creativity.
