    Rubbish!
I'm not familiar with the source material. Didn't even know it was an adaptation until I saw the other reviews. I am, however, 30 minutes into it, and it's poorly written, the acting is abysmal, and I'm surprised certain members of the cast signed on for this project at all. Surely, they just needed to pay some bills because there is absolutely no way they read the script and believed it would be a quality film. It's not even worth all the time and effort they put into learning their lines. I'm going to find the original work this mess is supposed to be based on. That sounds like it'll be a much more enjoyable experience.

    Why why why????
I would never understand why this producers insist about change the original story!!! If something is successful what makes you thing YOUR version is going to be better!!!

Car chasing, aircraft!!??? Missiles???? WHAT???? Didn't you understand a bit of what is the emotional fact!! Also Seiya's personality?? He's just NOT the one from the anime. Next time try to watch at least a few episodes ! Kido is more like a gaster CASSIOS, oh my God, what happened to him? This movie showed us a very tiny version! No personality (again) I just couldn't watch this movie complete! I felt I was ruining my childhood!!! They already did it before with Dragon ball !!!

"Knights of the Zodiac: A Disjointed Quest for Greatness"
"Knights of the Zodiac" treads a precarious path between untapped potential and a myriad of shortcomings, ultimately delivering a lackluster cinematic experience. Despite my initial optimism for a captivating narrative, the film quickly succumbs to tired clichés, particularly evident in its handling of romantic elements, which devolve into predictable and uninspired tropes.

The movie's commendable visual vibrancy and colorful aesthetics are unfortunately overshadowed by glaring issues in crucial areas. The acting falls flat, with performances that can only be described as subpar, diminishing the impact of key scenes. The script suffers from a lack of originality and depth, reducing pivotal moments to mere caricatures of emotional resonance. Character development is woefully inadequate, leaving the audience disconnected from the fate of the protagonists and uninvested in their struggles.

While the costume design and CGI effects manage to evoke a nostalgic nod to Power Rangers, this nostalgic appeal cannot salvage the film's overall lack of substance. The narrative's hurried pace results in unresolved storylines, leaving critical plot points hastily addressed and character arcs undeveloped. The supporting cast, in particular, is given insufficient screen time to forge meaningful connections with the audience, contributing to the overall lack of engagement.

A pervasive identity crisis further compounds the film's issues, as it vacillates awkwardly between Greek mythology and worn-out superhero clichés. This indecision results in a confusing and unsatisfying viewing experience, leaving audiences yearning for a more coherent and well-executed exploration of the mythological world within which the characters reside.

Mackenyu's commendable performance as Seyia is a rare highlight in an otherwise lackluster ensemble, but it falls short of rescuing the film from its myriad shortcomings. Regrettably, "Knights of the Zodiac" fails to deliver the immersive and pleasurable experience expected of a cinematic endeavor, earning a modest score of 4 out of 10. Viewers are advised to invest their time in more worthy representations of the fantasy and superhero genres.
