    A predictable & preachy remake
I wouldn't have chosen to watch the 2022 remake of Cheaper by the Dozen. I'm not a fan of most modern-day remakes, the trailer didn't impress me, and the reviews were mainly negative. However, my daughter chose to watch this movie for our family movie night, so I just had to grin and bear it. It's pretty awful. Not only is it largely unfunny, highly predictable, and full of one-dimensional characters, but at times the actors will basically turn to the audience to lecture them about a variety of social & political issues. After it was over, my daughter said, "that was a weird movie." I agree, Honey.

tired of watching for ten minutes
I got tired of watching 12 bad actors after the first 10 minutes. Sped up 20 minutes and it got worse. Sorry, it's worse the Gigli or the Home Alone reboot,...seriously.

    Great family movie!
This is a great film that shows the hectic lives of a blended and racially diverse family. The film is socially conscious and covers themes class and racial identification in a kid friendly way. The negative reviews seem to come from those who do not encounter racial discrimination in their daily lives.

The film highlights the unique challenges that are faced by those who do live life as a minority or for parents with children of color. Its a wholesome and relatable film for all. My husband is Korean, I am Black, my inlaws are White and my daughter is biracial. This film has fostered some great discussions for my daughter and provides a racial mirror of a blended family on the big screen.

I hope we get a sequel with the same cast.
