Not bad, not good, just average.
Venom (2018), was good than this big bag of just action. Sony just focused on cool scenes, actions, and just actions! An average movie that i would rate only 6. Venom (2018) was more better than this. It was excellent in everything. Action, story, twists (hmm), and was very good 👍. I was expecting more than just a fight in a marriage and then boom. Not good, not bad, just average. I hope venom 3 will be good than this bag of action. If you remember, that in last of this film, tom holland was shown, what would that will affect the venom 3??

(Not writing a big review, my hand have boomed in pain!)

Venom 2: let there be MID
Venom 2, is a good popcorn flick movie like the first one . Writing may not be the best but I still found it entertaining. I'll start off with the positives.

Tom Hardy is still a great Eddie Brock here , his back and forths with venom are easily the best parts of the movie . I did like the fight scene at the end and the graphics still are pretty good

The best scene is easily the post credit scene , it set up so many opportunities with mcu's spiderman

Now the negatives, I did not care for carnage or shrieks (Cletus Cassidy girlfriend) , they had the perfect choice for Cletus in Woody Harrelson , just the writing made his performance fell flat .

The whole sub plot of venom and Eddie basically breaking up , it led to nothing . It woulda been better if venom went to the Cletus himself and used him as a host , where Cletus uses venom to do some criminal stuff . Eddie Brock sees this and tries to convince venom to come back , he doesn't want to then but eventually he sees what he's doing is wrong tried to leave but accidentally creates carnage , setting up either the final battle or the 3rd movie.

A buddy movie between a symbolic and a man
Venom Let There Be Carnage(Venom 2) is a 2021 sequel to the 2018 film Venom starring Tom Hardy,Woody Harleson,Naomie Harris and Michelle Williams. Directed by actor Andy Serkis(13,Going On 30,Black Panther and Lord Of The Rings to name a few) this story takes place a year after the first film and Eddie Brock(Hardy)meets a serial killer on death row named Cletus(Harleson). Of course things turn sour when a symbolic attaches onto Cletus and he becomes Carnage. Now it's up to Eddie and Venom to save the day.

Overall its an OK sequel to a decent film. Certain scenes are terrifying but it's still a passable film.

And I Thought Morbius Was Bad!
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is even worse. This is an overloud, confused mess of a film. It wants to rub shoulders with the Deadpool sub - genre of superhero (Venom - superhero???) features, but it's seriously not in the race. (For the life of me, I still don't understand how the character can be seen as a superhero, when even in its downtime, it just appears to continue to destroy and damage stuff. Oh, wait on! That has to be funny, right?)

Deadpool is funny. Ryan Reynolds is a good comic actor. There is copious witty dialogue from all characters and plenty of tongue in cheek, cleverly - staged scenes and situations, enhanced by appropriate musical selections. Venom on the other hand, just continually flounders along. It's idea of humour is to make a lot of noise, introduce massive amounts of CGI among lightning edits, smash up props and locations in a 3 Stooges type fashion and hope that its intended audience will find it hilarious. Here's the sad news folks. This punter found it just plain boring and really annoying on the ears. (In the first half of the film especially I began to dread the interplayed scenes between Venom and his host Eddie, because of them both continually screaming at one another. This was apparently done to emphasise the conflict between both characters, but there was little subtlety and like just about everything in VLTBC, was overplayed massively.)

Supporting actors like Michelle Williams and Naomi Harris pop in and out, but they have little to do and are so lightly sketched, they almost appear invisible. And the action scenes? Ho - hum! If you're into cartoons, you may be drawn to them. For me, tedious is the only adjective that may suffice. I just can't get my head around the fact that studios and production companies continue to pour big money into this sort of rubbish.

    Fun to watch
It's fun to watch and that's about it. The plot is a bit weak and the movie has followed the recipe for the basic fun marvel movie and that's all of it. Although, I loved Tom Hardy as Venom. He's just too good at what he does. The banter between Venom and Eddie is as usual very entertaining. I liked how Dan was involved more in this movie. The humor saves the movie otherwise the plot is not very interesting. They could've developed the story a little bit more. There's nothing extraordinary, it's good for a one time watch. The VFX just like the first movie are great. No complaints there. Rating it 8 as even though the plot is weak, it's still fun to watch.

    Let There Be...Meh
Though I'm a genuine fan of the Venom IP, this movie doesn't need to exist. With a simple sentence you can adequately summarize the impact this tragically underwhelming film has on the current Venom-verse. The narrative arch of this sequel could easily live within a 22-minute television episode. Let's hope the third (and final) installment will due this character and its mythology justice.
