    Breaking Hutch!
The main reason for this movie released in 2021 and directed by Ilya Naishuller was Bob Odenkirk, his performance in Breakind Bad was so good! He was fantastic in this one as well. He is shown initially as this docile, shy family man having a mundane life. One day two petty crooks break into his house, he tackles them, his son also wakes up and had one in a strong hold. He then tells his son to just leave them. His son seemed grossly unimpressed and ashamed of his dad. But this event triggers something dormant that he was trying to hide. His daughter's kitty bracelet went missing that day and he just decides to go chase the two people. In the tattoo place they show that he had some tattoo on himself that terrorizes one of the guys there and they lock all doors and hide. I do wish they had explained what the tattoo on his hand meant later, but they don't! Anyway he finds the thieves, they are two poor Hispanic ppl with a small baby, so obviously his frustration is not resolved. Thankfully for him on the way back in bus, a bunch of Russian guys were about to rape a girl, and he takes out all his anger at them. One of the Russian guys happened to be the brother of a Russian mafia, and this triggers a whole event of war with the Russians behind him. And himself, and his dad (who was in a nursing home also hating the mundane life) and another African American guy (who is a friend seen as calling frequently with warnings) just goes into gunshot mode with them. Hutch's (Bob the actor) true identity seems to be that he was an FBI agent very much feared, who during an operation decided to become better and have a family. There is a scene where the Russians are searching for him in FBI database and he is in the highly classified danger category.

Good movie, one time thrill watch.

All This Over a Kitty Cat Bracelet
Hutch is just an ordinary mild-mannered family man working at a 9 to 5 office job. His life is quite boring and mundane.... Until one night, two petty thieves break into his house with a gun. Hutch's teenage son Blake jumps one of them and Hutch picks up a golf club and has the other thief, but he does nothing and just lets them go.

Now Hutch is branded a coward by everyone, and in the next few days he starts to boil over. The last straw.... they stold his daughter's kitty cat bracelet.

"And you don't do that!" - Hutch

So Hutch decides to hunt the thieves down and get that kitty cat bracelet back. On the bus back home, Hutch goes all full blown vigilante on a gang of punks on the bus, putting them all in the hospital. But one of them just happens to be the brother of Russian crime boss, Yulian Kuznetsov. Yulian declares war on Hutch and sends the Russian mafia after his family. But he has no idea who Hutch really is and what he is cable of.

    "Me? I'm... Nobody"

"Nobody" is a low key action flick. Almost to low key. A great cast but the story is really slow. The pace eventually does pick up a bit and there is a great pay off in the end. Stay tuned for a clip during the credits that sets up a possible sequel.

Cast - Bob Odenkirk, Christopher Lloyd, Connie Nielsen, RZA, Aleksey Serebryakov, Michael Ironside.

    Surprise.
The action is satisfactorily accompanying the escape that is sought after by the lead actor, Hutch. Hutch himself plays the very everyday ordinary and indifferent nobody life as a father being bullied by his current nine-five lifestyle, "not that there's anything wrong with that." The film is driven by Hutch escaping the nine to five and pursuing his desired "past life" as a secret government auditor (as he likes to call it) which spirals seemingly out of control. This out of control order does make the film feel a bit too ridiculous. I would recommend the movie to anyone that likes fighting and action movies.

    Another violent action movie
I saw high rating of this movie and decided to watch it. What a disappointing movie it is.

It's just another violent action movie. Lots of fighting and violence. Nothing special, very boring storyline. But if you like beating up baddies, you would like it. I actually didn't finish watching it, got bored. So somehow it comes to more interesting half way, I'm sorry I'm wrong. I don't see this movie can go better after half way, if it makes me bored first half I don't rate high. I don't know what is the plot of this movie. It's hard to understand what is this movie about. Nobody understands what is the plot.

Fun movie, Christopher Lloyd with a shotgun was legendary.
This movie was recommended for me to watch in a YouTube comment section of all places, and I'm glad I finally checked this out. It starts off a little awkwardly but boy does it pick up. It ends up being a very large-scale and intense plot with really good action and directing that does its job. Seeing Christopher Lloyd with a shotgun just made me smile for the rest of the movie, this was like a John Wick but for the older folks! I really bought into Bob Odenkirk's character Hutch as well and I wish I saw this in theaters when it came out. This must've been perfect post-Covid lockdown fun! Any fan of action movies should watch!

    John Wick Meets Rambo
Bob Odenkirk was a strange choice for this role, and I must say wasn't entirely convincing, the movie's relentless - and enjoyable - action notwithstanding.

Nobody is the same unrealistic, mindless action that you've seen a million times before, especially in the style of films like John Wick, The Equalizer, Rambo, A History of Violence and Taken. Nobody really is a copy and paste of these formulas: retired secret agent trying to live a normal life is forced out of retirement, you guessed it, to fight the ever disposable bad guys - the Russian mafia; what ensues is a stream of fantastical fight scenes that are admittedly less superhero-like than John Wick, but nonetheless almost as non-reality as it, the film's climactic final shootout being an example.

This is a good movie for what it is, and it doesn't pretend to be anything than it's not.

He still looks and feels like Saul Goodman to me.
