    Money duping machine
*) K Reviews *) ( ( If you had so much money to dupe, then you should have donated. If i need to summarize this movie in one line then that should be "trying to be bahubali and K. G. F mix, but failed miserably". CGI seems better than most most of the Bollywood movies, but story has not power at all. Not at all engaging and it seems stretched out from the beginning. Like the whole story can be summarized in 30 min. And why the hell Vani is acting an traditional Indian dancer with a American English accent. Very poor acting of her. Even the crow is more authentic then her, they should have taken Kulkarni for this role. Avoid this movie and save your time as I watched this movie for a sole reason that why the heck people are giving this movie so much hate, and now I get it.

Same plot as many other movies
    Wasted time.

It's predictable, same plot as many other movies such has bahubali, agnipat, etc.

I think you shouldn't waste the time on it if you already have seen those movies in the past, especially Agnipat. You can say, just simply replace Hritikh Roshan with Ranbeer Kapoor.

Only one song is better, romantic, and great video shoot. But the rest of them is just ok.

I don't know why movie makers just copy/paste something and then expect it to earn as well.

I gave it 4/10 rating just because of one song. Sanjay Dutt villan characters is good and I think he is known for it from Agnipat as well.

Rebellion of an oppressed tribe in India of 1800s.
There are some movies which have top stars and everything else necessary for commercial success but they crash at the box office. One such movie is " Shamshera" and as usual I had to see it and analyse what went wrong with it. The movie has a much loved hero and heroine Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. It also has a successful director Karan Malhotra at the helm. Set in 1800s it is about a marginalised tribe Khamerans who under their leader Shamsher ( Ranbir) is fighting against the British for freedom and survival. They fail to do so, are driven out and two decades later, the son of Shamaher a young Balli ( again Ranbir) continues the fight against British forces. This is long tale on a wide canvas with plenty of special effects in addition to the breathtaking cinematography. To the credit of Director Karan Malhotra it can be said that he has kept the scenes at an awe inspiring and visually riveting level. There is romance, drama, music and action to give the money's worth. The nature of the story allows for a lot of loud melodrama with some overacting by protagonist Ranbir and antagonist Sanjay Dutt which appears to have been done in all sincerity. I feel that both Ranbir and Sanjay have interpreted their roles quite commendably and have done justice. So there is this brave, handsome hero and the menacing, evil villain in the classic format not forgetting the damsel in distress Vani Kapoor who plays a dancer, looks fetching and has done well. In some ways this movie is Bollywood's answer to movies like Bahubali, RRR and KGF but it has flopped commercially and this cannot be an issue now. I could not place my finger on why the movie failed to appeal to the masses. It seems to have everything for all types of audiences. Another proof that movies which fail commercially may not necessarily be bad.
